Albert Fingercwajg is a supply chain and logistics strategist with over 35 years of experience gained across Europe, North America, and the Middle East. His expertise spans both the public and private sectors, as well as national and international logistics. He is recognized for his inspiring leadership and his ability to establish transparent and constructive professional relationships, thereby facilitating the optimization of supply chain strategies and global logistics management.
Throughout his career, Albert has held leadership positions in several international companies, where he led teams in diverse sectors such as transportation, logistics, project procurement, and procurement management. His extensive experience includes a strong command of various transport types (air, maritime, trucking) and customs requirements, enabling him to understand both client expectations and the specificities of freight forwarders.
In 2001, Albert took over the logistics operations for the ABB group in Canada, overseeing not only the transportation operations for the 26 Canadian divisions but also the activities within ABB’s global “Air-Sea” team. The air and maritime program implemented in 2006, in which he played a key role, remains in place to this day.
Later, in 2005, Albert joined SNC-Lavalin as Corporate Logistics Director (Global), where he made a significant contribution to the implementation of global logistics solutions, including the development of a “Total Landed Cost Calculator” that calculates transportation costs and customs duties for over 50 international points of origin.
In 2016, Albert transitioned to independent consulting, where he assists SMEs in the field of international logistics and customs. He has worked with several clients, optimizing their logistics processes on a global scale.
